I currently work as the Associate Director for International Programs at Chicago Booth and prior to that as the Senior Adviser for International Initiatives in The College at The University of Chicago. I have also consulted on several international education related projects for a variety of institutions and higher education organizations. I serve on the editorial advisory board of the Journal of Studies in International Education & have co-authored several book chapters and reports on international education topics. My research focuses on the use of international education for soft power and public diplomacy efforts; methodology of data collection on global student and scholar mobility, diversity in study abroad and on the history of international education exchanges. I am currently at the dissertation writing stage in Comparative and International Education at Loyola University Chicago. All opinions and comments are my own.
